Requests for repeat prescriptions must be in writing and can be made in the following ways:
- In person - drop your repeat slip in the letterbox at the surgery having clearly marked all the items required.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you.
- By fax - to 01354 660788
- Online - If you need regular repeat medication please register your details at Reception. You will need to bring in two pieces of ID (1 photographic and 1 recent utility bill showing your address).
Please note telephone requests are not accepted.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed (or three working days if using a local pharmacy collection scheme) and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
If you request prescriptions and request them to be URGENT as you have not allowed 2 working days to be processed YOU will be issued with an URGENT LETTER. If you continue to request URGENT scripts you will be informed that we cannot guarantee that further scripts will be done and that you may have to wait for the normal 2 days.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
